Magnolia Plantation and Gardens

Azaleas are in bloom at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in Charleston, SC. We're on the road so I don't have time for a full report, so for now, I'll leave you with basic information and a slideshow from our outing.

Magnolia Gardens is located at 3550 Ashley River Road (which runs along the Ashley River near Hwy 17.) Basic admission is $15.00 per adult. It includes entrance to everything but the Swamp Tour, a tour of the Drayton's house, and the boat/train tour. For more information on entrance fees for those attractions as well as senior/child admission, go to www.magnoliaplantation.com/ and click on "Plan Your Visit". The park does offer a AAA discount, so be sure and ask for it at the gate.

I can't remember if I commented here yesterday or not, so if it's a repeat, delete it. :) I just wanted to say that I'm enjoying looking around your blog. I used to live in Charleston, and Magnolia is one of my favorite places to visit. We especially enjoyed the Audubon Swamp Garden.

Thanks, sandpiper. I'm glad you enjoy the photos. We love Charleston, so look for more Lowcountry posts in the future.

BTW, I love you blog. It's very informative. If you don't mind, I'm going to add a link in my blogroll.

Thank you, Kimberli. That's very nice of you. I've added you to mine, as well. We are talking about moving back there. I sure miss it!
